保罗·安东尼·梅勒斯爵士（1939—），剑桥大学考古学系人类进化及史前史学教授，英国科学院院士（FBA），欧洲科学院院士（MAE）及史前史学会主席，英国文化交流协会理事。保罗爵士是当今最权威的考古学家之一，研究涉及尼安德特人灭绝、现代人起源、“中石器时代”、莫斯特技术体系等诸多旧石器时代考古学重大课题，曾在Nature、Science、PNAS等国际一流期刊上发表大量重要文章，编著有《The Neanderthal Legacy: an Archaeological Perspective from Western Europe》、《The Human Revolution: Behavioural and Biological Perspectives on the Origins of Modern Humans 》等书。
