摘要：The brontotheres described in the present paper were collected from the Middle Eocene LumeiyiFormation of Lunan Basin ,Yunnan by a field team of IVPP in 1970s. They include two species -Protitan major sp. nov. (V 13802～4) and Protitan cf . P. robustus which represented by a left lower jaw with p3～m3 as well as broken c1 and p2 , a right lower jaw with p3～m3 of same individual (V 13805) .
